Retina Institute of North Carolina, PC participates with most insurance companies. If you have any questions regarding our participation with your medical insurance carrier, please contact our office or speak with your insurance company directly.
If your insurance company requires that services be authorized prior to your first visit, you are responsible for obtaining that referral from the appropriate source.
We will bill your primary and secondary insurance carriers directly. You will only be billed the portion of your charges that your insurance company does not pay. If you have a tertiary insurance company, we will provide you the form you will need to file your tertiary insurance. If your insurance company pays you directly, please contact our patients accounts department and/or send the endorsed check to us so we can apply it to your balance.
We are pleased to offer you the convenience of paying your account balance by cash, personal check, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or money order. We can take VISA or MasterCard payments over the phone.
